Your donation enables us to keep a roof over the heads of our homeless veterans, put food on the table and maintain the basic utilities of water, electricity and gas in the Veterans Group house. Programs and services, such as PTSD counseling and job preparation, continue to benefit our veterans thanks to your generosity.
All donations are fully tax deductible.
TVG uses Network for Good to accept donations. The donate button will direct you to our external donation page.
Supporting up to 41 veterans at a time means The Veterans Group is always in need of basic home supplies. Below is a list of items we gladly accept as donations that our Veterans can use on a daily basis:
- Cleaning products (laundry detergent, dish soap, cleaning sprays, paper towels, etc.)
- Kitchen supplies (plastic wrap, aluminum foil, plastic utensils, cups, paper plates, etc.)
- Trash bags
- Bottled water
- Toilet paper (1-ply only please)
- Gift cards (ACME, Giant, Target, Home Depot, Walmart)
Unfortunately, TVG cannot accept used home goods (i.e., TVs or furniture) or clothing to be used at the house. If you have these types of items and would like to donate them, you can drop them off at the house as part of our Clothing & Household Goods Recycling Program. If you are unable to drop them off, please visit TVGpickupservice.org for details on how to schedule a pick-up of those items and still directly help us in our mission to care for our Veterans! Should you have any questions about an item you would like to donate, please contact our Executive Director, Matthew Dunphy at email@example.com.
